My Retirement Workshops, LLC and its affiliates ("MRW," "we," "us," or "our") are committed to
protecting the privacy of all individuals who utilize the MRW site and/or MRW services. MRW is the data
controller of the personal data collected, and is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you of our policies and practices regarding our collection, use,
and disclosure of the information you submit to us and that we collect from you through

MRW (collectively referred to as the “Website”). This Privacy Policy does not govern information you
might provide through a channel other than the Website. This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors to the

Email: MRW only sends emails to users of our Website who sign up for the MRW mailing lists or who

and MRW will remove your phone number from the MRW contact list. If you do not wish to be texted,
please respond to the text message requesting to be removed from the contact list.
By providing your contact information while registering for one of MRW’s events/workshops, you
authorize us and our affiliates to: (i) provide a confirmation phone call, text message, and/or email; (ii)
provide a reminder phone call, text message, and/or email; (iii) provide a post-Workshop follow-up
phone call, and/or email (iv) provide a post-Workshop follow-up inviting you to another workshop; (v)
provide informational updates regarding finance and/or financial professionals; (vi) request an
assessment/review of MRW and/or any Host (defined below); (vii) communicate with you via text
message, if you provided your phone number.
Cookie Policy - Personal Information We Collect By Automated Means
MRW may collect certain information by automated means when you visit our Website, such as how
many users visit our Website and other related analytics. MRW collects this information to learn how to
improve the MRW Website and how to best tailor it to MRW visitors. When you visit the Website, MRW
may automatically collect some information about your visit using cookies, log analytics software, and
other aggregate tracking technologies. Cookies are bits of text that are placed on your computer’s hard
drive when you visit certain websites. MRW may use cookies to tell us, for example, whether you have

• Social Media: MRW may use social media sharing and other “widgets” to enable interaction with
social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Some of these social networks may be
able to track your visit to our Website (or any site that uses the widgets) because when you visit
a social network, it may place personally identifiable cookies in your browser that are then
transmitted back to the social network when you visit other sites that use that network’s
widgets, even if you do not click on or interact with the widget. If you have questions about a

The major browsers have attempted to implement the draft “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) standard of the
World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”) in their latest releases. As this standard has not been finalized,
the MRW Website is not compatible with DNT and does not recognize DNT settings.
You have choices about certain information MRW collects. When you are asked to provide information,
you may decline to do so; but if you choose not to provide information that is necessary for us to collect
to respond to your request, we may not be able to adequately respond.
How Does MRW Process Personal Data?
Business Operations and Marketing.
• MRW might use your information to provide you with information personalized to your requests
or to respond to inquiries.
• MRW might use your data to provide you with communications regarding our services; and
• MRW might use your data in connection with the exercise or defense of our legal rights, as well

Legal Bases for Processing. MRW processes personal data for, or based on, one or more of the following

Information MRW Shares With Others

o Consent: MRW may share information you submit to us with your consent or at your
direction.
o Workshop Hosts: MRW organizes seminars that are hosted by trusted “Hosts” and their
teams. Most Hosts are financial professionals (CPAs, financial advisors, attorneys, etc.).
MRW may disclose the information of individuals who register for a particular seminar
with that seminar’s Host. MRW uses contractual and other means when transferring
information to Hosts to require similar levels of security and privacy protection.
However, Hosts are solely responsible for their own digital security and privacy
policies, and MRW has no control over such Hosts or with respect to their compliance
with security policies and legal data protection requirements. MRW does not screen,
or approve Hosts’ digital security or privacy policies. MRW disclaims any liability with
respect to such Hosts’ handling of personal information that a Host may obtain through
MRW.
o Service providers: MRW may share your information with service providers we have
retained to perform services on our behalf, for example, to host our Website or send
email communications. We obligate these service providers to not use or disclose the
information they receive from us except as necessary to perform services on our behalf
or to comply with legal requirements.
o External links: The MRW Website may include links to other websites whose privacy
practices and policies MRW does not control. Once you leave the MRW Website,
disclosure or provision of your personal information, if any, is governed by the privacy
policy and terms of use of the owner of the site you are visiting.
o Compliance with law: In addition, MRW may disclose information about you (i) if we

should contact MRW immediately.

the rights, property, and safety of MRW, our customers, and other third parties.

Accessing, Modifying, Rectifying, and Correcting Collected Personal Data. MRW strives to maintain the
accuracy of any personal data collected from you, and will use commercially reasonable efforts to
respond promptly to update the MRW database when you tell us the information in our database is not
accurate. However, we must rely upon you to ensure that the information you provide to us is complete,
accurate, and up-to-date, and to inform us of any changes. Please review all of your information
carefully before submitting it to us, and please notify us as soon as possible of any updates or
corrections.
In accordance with applicable law, you may obtain from us certain personal data that we process about
you. If you wish to access, review, delete or make any changes to personal data you have provided to us
through our website or related services, you may do so at any time by contacting us as provided below.
Please note, however, that we reserve the right to deny access as permitted or required by applicable
law. Pursuant to the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas users are entitled to appeal a refusal of
MRW to take action on any request to exercise your rights under this policy. Further, Texas users may
designate another person to service as your “agent” to opt out of processing data, on your behalf.

Children’s Information
The MRW Website is not directed at children, and MRW will not knowingly accept, request, or collect
personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal
information from an individual under the age of 18, we will delete this information from our databases
in accordance with our deletion procedures. Should you suspect that a child of whom you are the parent
or legal guardian has provided MRW with personal information, please contact us and we will work with
you to address this issue.
Your California Privacy Rights
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California users are entitled to request information relating
to whether a business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct
marketing purposes. MRW does not sell or share your personal information with third party companies
for their direct marketing purposes without your consent.
